Rehearse: Hard Conversations - last updated 4 September 2026
Rehearse lets you practise difficult workplace conversations against an AI counterpart. This policy describes exactly what leaves your device, who processes it, and how long it is kept. It is written to be short enough to actually read.
Rehearse has no sign-up, no login, and never asks for your name, email address, or phone number. When the app first runs it generates a random identifier for your installation. That identifier is not your advertising ID, not your device's hardware ID, and cannot be linked to you by us or by anyone else. Uninstalling the app discards it permanently.

Reporting is the one exception to the first row, and it is narrow: when you report something, we receive that one item - the counterpart's line, your debrief, or the scenario you generated - and nothing around it. The rest of the conversation is not sent and not kept.
We use three processors, each for one job, and send them the minimum needed to do it:
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and Rehearse contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
If you speak rather than type, speech is turned into text by your own phone's built-in dictation and appears in the message box for you to review before you send it. Audio recordings never leave your device and are never sent to us.
Everything the app sends travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/WSS). Our server runs on Cloudflare's network.
Rehearse is designed for working adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process data from anyone under 13.
Because there is no account, the simplest way to erase everything associated with your installation is to uninstall the app: the identifier is destroyed, and everything held against it expires on the schedule above. If you would like your data deleted sooner, contact us and include nothing more than your request - we will delete what is still held.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
